A few weeks ago I hiked into the ghost town of Pahreah Utah. On the highway it reads Pariah. Its between Kanab and Tropic Utah down a long and bumpy road. Then the only way to get there is to hike up the Pariah river 2-3 miles. It was inhabited from 1870 to 1929. Now it is in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. It is a beautiful hike and only a few stone buildings.
